Whole homes, every week

Most of what we do is full households across the Portland metro, and the housing is anything but uniform. A Pearl-adjacent condo with a shared elevator is nothing like a 1970s Beaverton ranch, and neither is like a Yamhill County property with a long gravel drive past the vineyards.

Before a truck ever rolls, my crews size up the access — how wide the doorways run, how steep the drive climbs, whether it’s gravel, or a gated property with a tight motor court. Grant Halloran walks the approach with you first on the tighter jobs.

The homes we plan for

West Linn and Lake Oswego hillsides mean steep drives and stair carries; we stage on the nearest workable spot and carry from there. Oregon City bluff lots and rural Clackamas acreage run on gravel — we tarp the path and shuttle a smaller truck when a 26-footer won’t clear. Need boxing? See full-service packing.

Home flat-rate examples

Home size Crew Typical flat rate
1-bed condo or apartment 2 movers $460 – $680
2-bed home or townhome 2–3 movers $780 – $1,180
3-bed house 3 movers $1,280 – $1,980
4-bed+ home 3 movers $2,050 – $3,250
Hillside or acreage, long carry 3–4 movers $2,400 – $3,600

The hourly basis is $145/hr for two movers and $195/hr for three, but the number you sign is flat. Cargo rides up to $1,000,000 per shipment, $0.60/lb released-value standard, nine-month claim window. Selling first, buying second? Short-term storage covers the gap.

Everything folded into your Wilsonville, OR flat rate

  • Pre-move walkthrough of doorways, hillside grades and gravel access
  • Floor runners and corner guards through both homes
  • Beds, sectionals, dining tables and entertainment centers taken apart and rebuilt
  • Wardrobe boxes for hanging closets — nothing refolded twice
  • Appliance dollies and stair climbers for fridges, safes and hillside carries
  • Placement where you want it, up to $1,000,000 cargo coverage per shipment

So what will it run you?

Two uniformed movers plus the truck run $145/hr on the clock, or lock the meter shut with a signed Portland-metro flat figure that puts the entire move on one page

Pads, dollies, shrink-wrap and the careful hand-carries a Sherwood bungalow or a Lake Oswego hillside staircase demand are already in the rate, and so is any Certificate of Insurance a downtown Portland high-rise or a West Linn HOA needs on file. Need a third mover added? That moves the hourly to $195/hr.

“Dylan and Owen were great through the entire process. They showed up on time, wrapped and taped all of the furniture that was moved, and put everything in our new place where we asked. They did not cause any damage to the walls or any of our property and were professional the entire time.”

“We had a very good experience with 503 Moving Labor Services. We paid what we were quoted, they arrived on time, the two guys worked hard and nothing was damaged. We did have a somewhat easy move, no stairs, no furniture assembly. We are very happy with our experience. Dylan & Owen were very courteous and did a great job.”

Questions we field on this service

Do you handle steep hillside driveways in Lake Oswego or West Linn?
All the time. The crew walks the grade first, stages the truck on the nearest workable spot and carries from there — it's built into your flat rate.
What about a long gravel driveway, say a quarter mile out in the county?
We lay tarps down, and when a 26-footer can't get up the approach we run a smaller truck in to shuttle the load. The shuttle is in your quote, not an add-on.
Can a whole-house move be done in one day?
Most 3-bed metro moves load and deliver same-day. Bigger hillside places or acreage homes can spill into a second morning — and we'll say so from the start.
Are your movers W-2 employees?
Every mover in a 503 shirt is W-2 and background-checked. We haven't used day labor once since I built this crew back in 2016.

A note from Brett

I launched 503 Moving Labor Services in 2016 on a single rule I have never bent: the price we put in writing is the price you pay — no curbside add-ons, not ever. Every job goes out on our own equipment with a crew I hired and trained by hand.

Whether it is a one-bedroom apartment in downtown Wilsonville or a full house heading across the Willamette Valley, you get the same crew and the same written flat rate every time. That consistency is what keeps Portland-metro families passing our name along to their neighbors.
